I created these illustrations by hand and then edited them in Adobe illustrator to create two distinct bag designs for the DNC and RNC. The bags were given out by the Food Marketing Institute. Each bag had symbolism from the state in which the conventions were held: Florida with oranges and orange blossoms for the RNC bag and blueberries for the North Carolina DNC. I was asked to tie imagery together of food, state and political party. The event also included the design of an entry ticket that doubled as a bookmark.
